Responsibilities

Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations. Load and unload items efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Navigate delivery routes accurately, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during transit. Assist with warehouse tasks such as organising stock, preparing goods for dispatch, and maintaining a clean working environment. Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies during daily operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with delivery driver experience. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience operating flatbed vehicles or similar large transport equipment is desirable. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during deliveries.
