Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires excellent communication skills a calm, professional demeanour.

Duties

Safely operate a van to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly for transit. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Communicate effectively with staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and stock organisation. Follow all health and safety regulations while driving and handling goods.

Requirements

Valid UK driving licence. Previous experience as a Van Delivery Driver is preferred. Familiarity with Warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Capability to lift heavy items safely when loading or unloading the van.
