Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The working hours are Monday - Friday 8 AM - 1 PM with flexibility on occasions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, making it desirable for candidates to have experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations.

Duties

Safely drive a delivery vehicle to designated locations, adhering to all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are secured properly during transit. Communicate effectively regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills, to interact with customers and team members effectively. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. A valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle type being operated is essential.
