Our client based in Kingswood is looking for a temp to perm van driver to join their team.
Interviews will be taking place over the text week or so with a start date of early September.
The Role:
- You wiill be required to carry out anywhere between 5 - 15 drops a day.
- Delivery locations are over the south west and wales.
- Ensure that the Company vehicle allocated is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition, documenting appropriate checks and reporting any faults immediately.
- Assist in loading orders onto vehicle ensuring that the payload is within the limits for the vehicle and that the permissible axle weights are not exceeded and that goods are safely loaded for transportation and delivery.
- Ensure all scheduled deliveries are completed on time, in full on a daily basis, utilising the relevant route planning tool.
- Ensure that all POD paperwork is correct and authorised.
- The ideal candidate will have less than 6 points on their licence for insurance purposes.
- You will need to have previous experience driving a van to be considered for the role.
- The role can be physical and will require you to carry up to 25KG.
- This is a multi drop role and can be anything up to 15 drops a day.
- This is a customer facing role so communication is key.
