Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and a basic understanding of vehicle mechanics to handle minor repairs and maintenance. The Van Driver will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining our excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Assist with warehouse duties when not driving, including inventory management and organization of goods. Perform minor mechanical checks on the vehicle as needed.

Requirements

Valid driving license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Previous experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver is advantageous. Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance. Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and customers effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience with flatbed vehicles is a plus but not mandatory. A good understanding of warehouse operations will be beneficial.
