Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable to join our team. The ideal candidate ideally will possess a strong background in delivery driving with the ability to operate a luton van with tail lift. A good work ethic is more important in this role as we supply prestigious locations with floor mats for filming.

The most important aspect is punctuality and politeness to our customers.

It will be early start or late finishes. rarely both, but occasionally.

It will be weekend work but only part days and split amongst the team to ensure fairness.

This role requires excellent communication skills and mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient delivery and handling of goods.

Duties

Operate luton vans with tail lift Ensure timely delivery while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety standards. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery receipts. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Skills

Driver experience with a clean driving record. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics operations. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Pay: 12.21-22.43 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week
