Role Overview:

As our Warehouse Assistant & Van Driver, you'll play a vital behind-the-scenes role in preparing, delivering, and collecting decor inventory, furniture, and equipment, as well as managing general warehouse operations. You'll ensure items leave our warehouse in perfect condition, arrive on time, and are handled with care and professionalism. You will play a key part in ensuring our event deliveries are accurate, timely, and professionally handled.

Key Responsibilities:

In the Warehouse:

Pick, pack, and prepare wedding decor, furniture, and equipment for delivery Check items for cleanliness, quality, and completeness including washing and steaming table clothes, and napkins Load vans safely and efficiently to protect delicate items Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and well-stocked
Assist with stock control and inventory management onsite and in our venues

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse

Perform basic maintenance and reporting of damaged or missing items

Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

On the Road & On-Site:

Drive our company van to deliver and collect equipment from our venues and external bookings Follow delivery schedules and routes effectively Handle items carefully and respectfully on-site, especially during wedding setups and takedowns Complete delivery paperwork and report any incidents or delays Perform daily vehicle checks and report maintenance needs

What We're Looking For:

Full, clean UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years preferred) No more than 6 penalty driving points Comfortable driving long wheelbase vans (up to 3.5T) Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items safely Experience in warehouse, logistics, or events (wedding industry is a big plus!) High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Excellent timekeeping and reliability Friendly and professional attitude Flexible with working hours - evening and weekend availability is essential

Nice to Have:

Basic knowledge of wedding/event furniture or decor setup Forklift licence or willingness to train Experience in customer-facing roles A passion for weddings and creating beautiful experiences basic knowledge of using an industrial printing machine or willingness to learn

Pay: 12.21-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
