Temp to Perm position. We are seeking 4 reliable and dedicated Van Drivers to join our client's established team. As a Van Driver, you will play a key role in transporting goods to various locations while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle materials effectively. You will be responsible for sharing driving duties, loading and unloading the van, and providing outstanding customer service.
Start time will be 5th January but you will be required to attend onboarding induction on the 2nd January (paid induction).
Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a van for transporting goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload goods with care to prevent damage.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Perform picking and packing tasks if required, ensuring all items are prepared correctly for dispatch.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory effectively.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during operations.

Experience and Requirements:

• Previous experience in materials handling is preferred.
• Experience driving a 3.5-ton van (Renault Master and Luton Vans)
• Familiarity with warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid UK driver's licence with less than 6 points.
• At least 2 years of driving experience
• No DD, DR, IN, or TT endorsements
• Over 25 years of age for insurance purposes

Salary: 12,44 per hour, plus overtime at T1/2.
Hours: 6am start, with 8-10-hour shifts depending on routes and traffic. Start time may vary depending on orders (Shifts could start at 6am / 8am / 10am dependent on the route).
