Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Van Driver to join our team in transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely. The right candidate will be given C2 HGV training
Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods from trucks
- Transport items between locations promptly
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage
- Utilise a tablet computer for tracking stock
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks
- Perform heavy lifting as required
- Operate a forklift for moving goods within the warehouse. Experience preferred but not essential as training will be given
- Support picking, packing, and building orders and serving customers.
Requirements
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in yard/warehouse operations is advantageous as position involves various warehouse tasks
- Ability to handle physical work including heavy lifting
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and safety protocols
- Strong organisational skills to ensure timely deliveries
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 13.65 per hour
