Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to timely deliveries and effective communication with both warehouse staff and customers.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van to deliver goods to various locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness. Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to optimise delivery routes and improve efficiency.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and best practices is advantageous. Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial but not essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and colleagues. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 100.00-120.00 per day

Expected hours: No more than 18 per week
