About the Role:

RML is seeking a reliable and professional Van & Trailer Driver to join our Procurement team. You will be responsible for the timely and efficient collection and delivery of goods to and from suppliers, customers, and our facility. This is a hands-on role that involves driving, vehicle maintenance, customer interaction, and occasional support to our Stores department.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect goods from suppliers and deliver them to RML's goods inward area, ensuring timely and cost-effective service.



Deliver goods to customers and suppliers based on daily run sheets, meeting all delivery deadlines.



Drive vehicles safely and in compliance with all Highway Code regulations.



Operate forklift trucks to safely load and unload materials.



Maintain a clean and professional vehicle appearance at all times.



Ensure vehicles are fuelled and ready for use.



Communicate vehicle service and maintenance needs promptly to the Facilities Manager.



Complete monthly vehicle log sheets accurately in line with company policies.



Assist the Stores department with packing duties when needed.



Adhere to all company policies, including Health & Safety regulations and procedures.

What We're Looking For:

Full clean driving licence (up to 7.5 tonnes)



C1 and C1E licence required



Valid Forklift Truck licence



Experience in a similar multi-drop delivery role



Excellent route planning and organisational skills



Strong customer service and communication abilities



Experience towing and transporting vehicles



ADR qualification is desirable
