Summary

As a VAT Accountant at Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, you will play a crucial role in ensuring VAT compliance for a multinational group with subsidiaries across EMEA, the UK, Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific. Your responsibilities will include preparing VAT returns, overseeing submissions and payments, and providing technical input for tax declarations. You will also manage VAT correspondence and assist with indirect tax audits, while supporting the interpretation of new tax policies and compliance with VAT registrations. This position requires collaboration with tax advisors, the Tax team, and various stakeholders while maintaining high organizational standards. Key Responsibilities

Support VAT return preparation in EMEA Oversee VAT submissions and payments Provide technical input for Intrastat and EC sales Manage VAT correspondence and audits Assist with VAT compliance for new registrations Support VAT recovery claims Collaborate on tax and customs projects Ensure timely delivery of VAT compliance Analyze new indirect tax policies Liaise with tax advisors
Skills and Experience

Experience in multinational indirect tax Preferred CTA or equivalent Professional accounting/tax qualification Advanced Excel skills Understanding of UK taxes Excellent organizational skills Strong interpersonal communication Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders Logical thinking skills Positive attitude
