The Role
We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our CX Platform Department. This role involves the precise fitting and alignment of painted body panels to new production vehicles, ensuring they meet Morgan's exacting quality standards before delivery to customers.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the final stages of vehicle production and may have opportunities to train in other fitting roles across the department. Flexibility and a willingness to learn are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Fit and align painted body panels to production vehicles, ensuring optimal fit and finish
Use a range of hand and engineering tools to carry out adjustments and fittings
Maintain a strong focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of the role
Collaborate with colleagues in a team-based environment to meet production schedules
Work to set build times while maintaining Morgan's high quality standards
Participate in ongoing training and cross-skilling opportunities within the department
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or automotive production environment
Practical knowledge of using hand tools and basic engineering equipment
A methodical and focused approach with a keen eye for detail
Desirable:
Experience in panel fitting, bodywork, or wiring
Familiarity with vehicle assembly processes and alignment techniques
