Due to continued growth, we are currently looking to expand our team and are looking for a workshop-based Vehicle Conversion Operative to join our close working team. The job is varied and challenging and offers skill progression and training.
The candidate will not only possess technical skills but will also enjoy working with people, sometimes with challenging disabilities in a variety of different environments. Duties
Assist with assembly and maintenance using hand tools and power tools
Support the installation of new systems or components as directed by supervisors
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within agreed build times
Follow detailed instructions and technical drawings
Document work performed and report any anomalies or safety concerns to management
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with practical experience in using hand tools and power tools would be an advantage
Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, and instructions accurately
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good physical condition, capable of working in various environments and lifting moderate loads if necessary
Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A proactive attitude towards safety, quality, and continuous improvement
