We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Estimator/ VDA. Ideally you should have a minimum of 3 experience in a similar role and hold a valid ATA VDA qualification.

Attractive salary based on experience.

Full Time: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 14:00 Friday. Due to the nature of the role some flexibility will be required.

The successful candidate will:

have a good understanding of modern repair techniques on a variety of vehicle makes and models be capable of inspecting and assessing damaged vehicles. prepare accurate estimates and safe repair methods using computerised estimating systems such as Audatex and Thatcham Escribe data. be conversant with Bodyshop management systems. negotiate with customers and engineers to agree repair costings and any additional supplementary work required. keep customers updated during the repair process produce workshop job schedules whilst liaising regularly with workshop staff to update the repair process. liaise with parts supplier to ensure correct parts are ordered and delivered. excellent communication skills as the majority of authorisations are negotiated remotely. High level of personal and professional integrity.
