At UPH Vehicle Delivery Service we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time vehicle delivery driver.

The role involves transporting single vehicles to/from various locations throughout the north of England and the UK and is based in Dinnington, Sheffield.

We have a varied customer and client base however our main contract is to deliver vehicles on behalf of a prestige brand therefore a high level of customer service skills is essential.

You will be driving a Toyota Hilux pick-up with a Brian James trailer.

Responsibilities and Duties

The safe, efficient and timely delivery of vehicles to a range of UK clients to their homes and businesses

To be well presented, professional and polite at all times

Thorough vehicle checks

Must be very reliable and able to work alone safely and professionally

Excellent time management is essential to ensure that you can be at your required destinations in good time

Must be able to tow a large 3500kg open car tilt bed trailer

Driver Requirements

A Full UK Driving Licence (B + E licence required)

- A minimum of 5 years driving and towing experience (extensive)

Current Digital Tachograph Card

Comfortable managing Tachograph machine and driving hours

Have a good knowledge of the UK road network

Be articulate and able to communicate efficiently

Ideally drivers will have no more than 3 points on their driving licence for minor offences and will have not been banned

Able to work alone and liaise effectively with our head office

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,134.65 per year
