We're an independent Land Rover dealership seeking a dependable, detail-obsessed professional to prepare vehicles to an exceptional showroom standard and support nationwide collections/deliveries. You'll take ownership of exterior machine polishing, interior deep cleans, cosmetic presentation, and final handover prep working alongside the prep manager.You will also responsible for collecting and on occasion delivering vehicles from and to ovarious parts of the country . A good eye for finish, pride in presentation, and safe, courteous driving are essential.
Knowledge of Land Rover's and Paint Work is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Preparation & Detailing
Complete full interior and exterior details to a "showroom-ready" standard.
Perform machine polishing, paint enhancement/correction (when required), tar/iron removal, and ceramic/wax protection.
Deep-clean interiors: leather clean/condition, trim care, glass, vents, and finishing touches.
Prepare vehicles for photography, showroom display, and customer handover.
Quality & Final Checks
Carry out visual inspections, fluid/top-up checks, tyre tread/pressure checks, bulbs/wipers, and basic road test notes for the workshop.
Flag any defects promptly and coordinate remedial actions with the team.
Driving, Collections & Logistics
Conduct professional, safe vehicle collections and deliveries nationwide.
Vehicle appraisals at collection.
Manage route planning, paperwork, vehicle condition reports, and handover etiquette.

Workshop, Stock & Housekeeping
Maintain a clean, organised detailing bay and equipment (pads, polishes, chemicals, vacs, extractors).
Track and restock detailing consumables and keep COSHH/Health & Safety standards.
Maintain a clean and tidy showroom.
What You'll Need
Proven experience in vehicle detailing/valeting, including machine polishing and interior deep cleaning.
Strong understanding of detailing products, pads, polish systems, decon processes, and protection finishes.
Full UK driving licence with a confident, clean driving style; comfortable with long-distance driving.
Excellent eye for detail, methodical approach, and pride in finish.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage your own workload and timelines.
Basic vehicle knowledge for simple checks and defect reporting.
Land Rover/4x4 familiarity is desirable; prestige/luxury prep experience is a plus.
