We are Midland Bluebird, and we are seeking a dedicated

Vehicle Examiner

to join the energetic team at our Bannockburn Depot. In this key role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of various vehicle types, ensuring adherence to DVSA and health and safety standards, and staying updated on procedural and technical developments relevant to the role.

This is an exciting time for us as we continue to develop and grow, setting new standards and developing our industry reputation.

What you'll do:

Conduct thorough inspections of all vehicle types

Undertake physically demanding tasks, including working under vehicles within engineering pits

Prioritise health and safety for yourself and others

Stay updated with procedural and technical developments relevant to the role

Actively participate in relevant training sessions to ensure compliance with DVSA and Midland Bluebird policies and procedures

Minimum of 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday

Early starts and early finishes with start times between 7am and 9am

What you'll bring to us:

At least 3 years' experience in an engineering role

A proactive, engaging, positive attitude with strong communication skills

A customer-focused driven approach

Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and individuals within the business

Proven qualifications to perform the role to a high standard

Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining driving standards
