Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dedicated team at McElmeel Mobility Services. In this role, you will be responsible for the adaptation and conversion of vehicles to into wheelchair accessible vehicles to meet the specific needs of our clients. Your work will directly contribute to improving independence for disabled individuals.

Responsibilities

Utilize hand tools and power tools to carry out vehicle conversion and adaptations from standard into wheelchair accessible vehicles. Complete fitting and wiring of other accessories as and when required. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to meet build times effectively. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a fitter or in a similar role within the automotive industry. Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. A great work ethic Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
