Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. We have been trading for ten years with multiple sites in the Belfast area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles. The workshops are busy. Communication is key, so we are looking for a hard working enthusiastic team player to join us. Strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is a must.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance on cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions.

- Able to carry out clutch and engine replacements and have knowledge of timing belts & chains.

- Knowledge of engineering technology.
- Repair or replace faulty components.
- Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of work performed.
- Call out repairs and diagnostics

- Good customer service skills

-Excellent time keeping

Qualifications:

- Must have a full UK drivers license ( Max 3 points)

- Level 3 Qualified with workshop experience.

-Level 2 with at least 2-3 years workshop experience will be considered.

Two references to be provided.

Standard hours of operation is:

09:00 - 18:00 Monday - Friday

Overtime available across our sites

Salary based on experience.
