We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist training provider who deliver technical training across the MOD. They are seeking a
Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice Coach
to support and guide apprentices through theirLevel 2 and 3 programmes
.This is not a classroom teaching role - instead, you will be working across MOD sites, coaching and mentoring apprentices in a practical setting, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their careers.
Key Responsibilities
Coach and mentor apprentices working towards Level 2 and 3 Vehicle Mechanic standards. Deliver high-quality skills coaching in workplace settings. Support apprentices with their progression, providing guidance and feedback. Travel to MOD sites to provide on-the-job support and assessment. Maintain records in line with apprenticeship requirements.
What We're Looking For
Background as a
Vehicle Mechanic
(military or civilian). Strong communication and coaching skills. Willingness to work across MOD sites (travel required). No previous teaching qualification required - full training provided.Benefits
Salary of
37,310
.37-hour working week
with early finish on Wednesdays. * Full support and training to develop as a professional coach.
