We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Duties

Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on machinery and equipment to identify faults or potential issues. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks using a range of hand tools and power tools. Replace worn or damaged parts, ensuring all work complies with safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required. Troubleshoot mechanical problems promptly to minimise downtime. Collaborate with team members to ensure maintenance schedules are adhered to efficiently.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role, with strong mechanical knowledge. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Good understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics is desirable. Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical trades are advantageous but not essential.
