Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced, time-served Vehicle Mechanic, or a candidate with relevant qualifications, to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The role will be based predominantly at our modern workshop in Dunsdale, where you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing our fleet of cars and vans. From time to time, you may also be required to assist with fitting and maintenance on our construction & groundcare equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance, servicing, MOT Preps and repair of company vehicles. Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs. Minimising vehicle downtime through efficient problem-solving. Assisting with plant & groundcare machinery maintenance when required.
Requirements:
Proven experience working as a vehicle mechanic. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work safely and effectively within a team and independently. Plant machinery experience is advantageous but not essential. Full UK driving licence (essential).
Additional Information:
Working week Mon-Fri. Salary dependent on experience and skill level. Overtime rates paid.
