Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment across our facilities. Duties

Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify faults or potential issues. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks using appropriate hand tools and power tools. Troubleshoot mechanical problems and determine effective solutions promptly. Replace worn or damaged parts, ensuring all work complies with safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs carried out. Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery as required. Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe at all times.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining industrial or commercial equipment. Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc. and power tools including drills, grinders, and saws. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical maintenance are desirable but not essential.
