Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paint Prepper to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in preparing surfaces for painting, ensuring that all materials are ready and that the workspace is organised and safe. This position requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to handle both hand and power tools effectively.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required. Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks efficiently and safely. Assist in the mixing of paint and other materials as needed. Conduct quality checks on prepared surfaces to ensure they meet specifications. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Perform heavy lifting as necessary when moving materials or equipment.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in using hand tools and power tools. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. A proactive attitude with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
