Vehicle Preparation Controller

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Essex Prestige Autos Ltd is a fast-paced, high-volume dealership specialising in sports and prestige vehicles--with a unique edge in the used car market.

We're looking for a Vehicle Preparation Controller to take charge of making sure every car we sell is prepped to perfection--mechanically sound, cosmetically flawless, and ready for handover or display.

What You'll Do:

Oversee the full vehicle preparation process post-purchase and pre-sale Quality check valeting, detailing, paintwork, and custom bodykit fitment Carry out final inspections before photography or customer handover Liaise with workshop, valet, and bodyshop teams to meet prep deadlines Ensure the forecourt and showroom stock always looks its best Track vehicle progress and flag any delays or defects promptI
Aftersales Responsibilities

As part of this role, you will also be the key point of contact for aftersales issues, taking ownership of any concerns raised by customers after handover.

What You'll Need:

Experience in vehicle prep, service, or a dealership environment Strong attention to detail and high standards of presentation Confidence in inspecting cosmetic and mechanical readiness Ability to stay organised and communicate clearly under pressure Full UK driving licence essential
