We've secured a landmark vehicle upgrade programme - one that will define the next decade. This is your opportunity to lead the delivery of an iconic vehicle, managing a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary programme from concept to SOP in under two years. This position is for a fixed term, to align with the vehicle programme (approximately 2 years).


As Vehicle Programme Director, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of a full vehicle upgrade programme. You'll lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure delivery against aggressive timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities



Programme Leadership: Own the end-to-end delivery of the vehicle programme, from concept through to production launch. Team Management: Lead internal and external engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams in a matrix environment. Planning & Execution: Develop and manage programme plans, gateways, milestones, and deliverables. Budget & Resource Control: Define and manage programme budgets, resource allocation, and financial reporting. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve issues decisively. Compliance & Homologation: Ensure the vehicle meets multi-market homologation requirements and regulatory standards. Reporting & Governance: Provide regular updates to senior leadership, including KPIs, progress reports, and lessons learned.

Who are we looking for?




We're looking for a proven industry leader who can inspire teams and deliver results under pressure. You will have:

A track record of delivering full vehicle programmes, ideally in low-volume or special edition contexts. Deep understanding of automotive engineering, manufacturing, and homologation processes. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with OEMs. Ability to balance technical, commercial, and customer priorities. Experience with APQP, Six Sigma, and programme management tools (e.g., MS Project).
