Recycleacar.com has an exciting opportunity for a

Vehicle Recovery Driver

to join our established scrap car recycling business, based in

Ilkeston, Derbyshire

.

As part of our environmentally-focused team, you'll be responsible for collecting end-of-life vehicles from households and businesses across the

East Midlands

using one of our company recovery vehicles. You'll play a vital role in helping us deliver a reliable, efficient, and sustainable recycling service.

Key Responsibilities:

Recover and transport scrap vehicles using a 7.5-tonne (Cat 1) recovery or flatbed truck Drive safely and legally at all times, following road and transport regulations Accurately complete all collection documentation and job paperwork Communicate professionally with customers during collections Maintain the recovery vehicle in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition Work independently and manage your daily workload efficiently

Requirements:

MUST hold a valid 7.5 Tonne (Cat 1) Licence

Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record Experience operating recovery vehicles or flatbeds preferred Familiarity with vehicle recovery techniques and equipment Good problem-solving ability and decision-making skills Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects Strong customer service and communication skills

Pay & Benefits:

13.50 per hour
