As a Recovery Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles safely, transporting vehicles and customers, light roadside repairs and carrying out vehicle inspection reports.

Position Overview:

You will be driving a fully insured company vehicle ranging from 7. 5 ton to 14 ton, recovering broken down, faulty or damaged vehicles and transporting customers where needed whilst providing excellent customer service. Our base is in Fobbing, Essex but we cover jobs all over Essex, Kent and London.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Safe loading and unloading of vehicles in line with company practices. Perform accurate vehicle inspections where needed. Light roadside repairs, for example flat batteries and spare wheel changes. Providing excellent customer service at all times. Liaising with the transport recovery manager and assistance companies as required via telephone and face-to-face. Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle, equipment and property. Undertaking vehicle safety training as required. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements for the Role:

Must have a valid driving license - HGV 7.5 ton and Class 2 drivers wanted Must have a clean driving record. Must be able to organise and provide your own DBS Check Experience within a similar role desirable however we are happy to offer training to the right candidates.
Rates of pay between 15 per hour dependent on experience. We are looking to recruit a number of drivers so we are able offer both full and part time roles which we can discuss on application. Must live relatively local to our base in Fobbing, Essex due to our ETA's and be happy to cover days/nights and weekends.
