Vehicle Remarketing Team Leader

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vehicle Remarketing Team Leader to oversee our remarketing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head of Remarketing Operations to manage the end-to-end process of vehicle remarketing, leading the team to achieve performance targets, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and providing direct support to the Head of Remarketing Operations, monitoring daily / weekly activity levels within each area to ensure resource is optimised. Develop a good understanding of the remarketing department P&L while seeking every opportunity to maximize and influence revenue opportunities. Support on vehicle reallocation and remarketing month end financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:



Team Leadership:

Manage the remarketing team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and professional development.

Management Support:

Provide support to department managers on meeting and exceeding department objectives. To provide clear leadership in the Head of Operations absence and the ability to step into internal / external customer or supplier meetings representing department. Deputise and assist where required for the Head of operations, providing support and cover for Reallocation, Logistics and remarketing finance areas ensuring operational responsibilities are met.

Remarketing Operations

: Oversee the vehicle remarketing process, including valuation, preparation, and sale of vehicles through various channels to maximize returns.

Performance Management:

Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, implementing strategies to achieve and exceed targets set by department manager.

Client Relations:

Maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored remarketing solutions. Conduct regular reviews.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to increase efficiency and profitability.

Month End Support:

To understand the department P&L and all key revenue generating areas.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Experience:

Leadership: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Manual Driving Licence (required)
