Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join the Aftersales team at our Volkswagen dealership in Bridgend. The ideal candidate would have experience within the motor industry; however, we are keen to hear from individuals who have a positive attitude and a high level of enthusiasm as training will be provided.

Position:

Service Advisor Volkswagen Bridgend

Full time:

45 hours a week Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 5:30pm

Saturday Rota:

1 every 3 weeks 8.30am to 12.30pm as overtime.

Position pays:

28,500 basic plus a monthly bonus

Bonus Schemes:

OTE and bonus scheme which can be discussed further at interview

The Opportunity:

Our Service Advisors play a vital role in the aftersales department, being the first point of contact between customers and our workshop. You will be based at the front of house in the showroom, so need to be passionate about helping customers.


A large part of what a Service Advisor Position involves is:

Creating and managing customer workshop bookings Preparation for customer visit Communicate workshop advise to customer, ensuring customer is able to understand and make an informed decision to additional work identified and required. Competent in ability to use digital tools in a paperless work environment Deliver on customer first and modern luxury principles Attention to detail and accuracy in all work processes such as costing, digital job card, filing and recording of all customer communications.

A proven track record for achieving high levels of customer satisfaction Passionate about the customer journey and giving a great customer experience Comfortable working to deadlines and managing customer expectations with regular communication and updates Strong attention to detail and organised as you will have your own customer base and workload Confident supporting with complex customer issues professionally and leaning on management for guidance when necessary Ability to work to targets, deadlines and under pressure Ability to quickly build strong relationships A driving licence free from excessive penalties
