We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition, providing excellent customer service, and performing heavy lifting as required.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of vehicles using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake replacements. Repair and replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as necessary. Assemble parts and systems according to specifications to ensure proper functionality. Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs. Assist in heavy lifting of equipment and vehicle components during repairs or installations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues effectively. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques is essential. Experience in equipment repair and maintenance is advantageous. A customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills is required.
