THE ROLE OF A LIGHT VEHICLE SERVICE TECHNICIAN
The Apprenticeship is geared toward training the next generation of Light Vehicle Service Technicians.
Light Vehicle Service Technicians service and repair light vehicles such as cars up to 3.5 tonnes. Technicians are trained in all areas of vehicle mechanics and electronics from engine and exhaust systems to air conditioning and security features.
Main Purpose of Job
To undertake all college and company training required to successfully complete the Apprentice Scheme to the expected and agreed standards.
To accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and servicing of motor vehicles, whilst detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair, ensuring all work is completed safely and to the satisfaction of the Service Manager and/or supervising Technician.
To work effectively within the dealership team to ensure industry-leading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times.

Mon-Fri 8.30-5pm, plus Saturday rota 8.30-12.30pm.
