Duties

Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using specialised equipment and tools Perform vehicle inspections to identify work required on stock vehicles. Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications Maintain detailed records of repairs, services performed, and parts used Assist in the organisation of workshop activities to optimise workflow and efficiency

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components Experience in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to diagnose faults accurately and suggest appropriate solutions Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or engineering are desirable but not essential A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory for all roles
