Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify faults or issues Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as brake replacements, engine diagnostics, and tyre fitting Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and adjustments Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used Follow safety procedures and ensure the workshop remains clean and organised Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair requirements and timelines Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques

Experience

Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar automotive repair role Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and diagnostic equipment is highly desirable Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous but not essential
