CLdN Automotive is a Vehicle Enhancement Centre where vehicles are prepared for customer handover and commercial vehicles are built to fleet customers' specifications. It is a busy, fast-paced environment and an opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician. CLdN Automotive operates vehicle enhancement centers in the North and South of the UK at port locations providing important value added services to major car manufacturers.

Your role



As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the diagnostic assessment and potential repair of vehicles Mainly working on new Mercedes-Benz, which will include working on EV, Hybrid and ICE vehicles.

In this role, working on brand new vehicles you will have the opportunity to continually work on new and evolving technologies, training will be provided that will allow you to regularly expand your knowledge and skillset. You will be part of a growing team supporting CLdN Automotive to ensure we provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Technical Supervisor who will support and guide with working priorities.

Additionally, you will be required to:



Liaise closely with the Mercedes-Benz Technical Department in relation to all warranty/service measures to be carried out on all new vehicles. Undertake any work within the automotive department and fitting of any vehicle accessory as and when required. Report and rectify any vehicle defects that may be found and to ensure that all Company and customer processes are followed to a high standard. To have a good knowledge of Health & Safety and to be able to train other members of staff within the Automotive Department.

A time served and qualified motor technician Experience of working on new Mercedes-Benz vehicles Essential Experience of warranty processes on new motor vehicles Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be able to work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment Have a high degree of flexibility Must be HV trained and have experience of working on HV's
