Vehicle Technician Arnold Clark Peugeot Western Road, Kilmarnock KA3 1NJ

SALARY

40,000 - 50,000

PLUS additional opportunity to earn up to 9,000 every three years in performance-based bonuses

All overtime paid at time and a half

HOURS

Monday to Friday Day Shift Saturday morning on a rota

Flexible hours are available if preferred

Duties and responsibilities include:

Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance of vehicles Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues Use computer-based diagnostic equipment Repairing or replacing broken/defective parts and resolving defects Road testing vehicles to check repairs Maintaining equipment and making sure tools are in good condition Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed Completing all documentation to the required standard Carrying out MOT vehicle testing (if authorised)

Skills, qualifications & qualities needed:

Level 3 Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Solid work experience in the automotive industry The ability to work in a competent and efficient manner Ability to work as a team player and on your own initiative Good attention to detail The ability to carry out work to high standards to deadlines A proactive and enthusiastic approach MOT Licence (not essential) A full UK driving license
