The Opportunity
We are recruiting an experienced MOT Tester and Vehicle Technician ready to take ownership of their work and deliver consistently high standards. You'll manage your own jobs, carry out MOTs, complete detailed diagnostics, perform repairs, and occasionally support front-of-house. What You Need
DVSA MOT Tester certification
Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Servicing & Repair (or equivalent)
Solid diagnostic and mechanical skills
Confident using tools, diagnostic systems, and technical data
Ability to work independently and complete tasks to deadline
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
A full UK driving licence
Physically able to carry out workshop duties

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Complete servicing, repairs, and maintenance to manufacturer standards
Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
Conduct MOT tests and ensure compliance with all DVSA guidelines
Carry out vehicle health checks and highlight recommended work
Road-test vehicles to validate repairs
Maintain a clean, well-organised workshop and follow safety procedures
Provide occasional customer support and front-office assistance
Oversee the workshop when senior staff are unavailable
Keep accurate records and complete all required documentation
