Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify faults or issues Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine diagnostics, brake servicing, suspension work, and electrical system repairs Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out repairs with precision Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and parts used Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications Assist in the ordering of parts and materials needed for repairs Test vehicles post-repair to confirm proper functioning and safety compliance Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe at all times

Experience

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role within an automotive workshop or garage environment (+8 Years) Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and diagnostic equipment is highly desirable Ability to interpret technical manuals and repair guides effectively Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance or automotive engineering are advantageous
