Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and delivery, with the ability to operate various types of vehicles, . This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods to designated locations.

Duties

Ensure timely delivery of products/vehicles while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, proof of collection and proof of delivery while ensuring they are in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Utilise mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting as needed. Collaborate with team members to optimise delivery routes and improve efficiency.

Experience

Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver is essential. Familiarity with flatbed car Transporter trailer and towing is highly desirable and/or collecting and delivering vehicles in any capacity. Previous trade plate driving experience would be great . Strong mechanical knowledge to handle minor repairs or maintenance on vehicles would help. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type being operated is required.
