Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving and mechanical knowledge, with experience in various driving environments including van and flatbed operations. This role is essential for ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the smooth operation of our logistics.

Responsibilities

Safely operate vehicles, including vans and flatbeds, to transport vehicles to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Load and unload vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist in operations when not driving, including inventory management and organisation of goods and vehicles

Experience

Proven experience as a Driver, preferably in a commercial setting. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Familiarity with delivery routes and logistics operations is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
