We are seeking a friendly and efficient Vending Operative to join our team in Mansfield as maternity cover (up to1 year). In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing vending machines across various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth operations.

• Restock vending machines with food, beverages, and other products as needed
• Collect and accurately count cash from vending machines
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on vending machines
• Keep detailed records of temperatures
• Ensure vending areas are clean and presentable
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues
• Coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels
• Adhere to health and safety regulations when handling food products
• Report any machine malfunctions or damages to the supervisor
• Serving hot meals in a small kitchen unit between 10am and 12 noon

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service or a similar role
• Strong cash handling and basic mathematical skills
• Ability to manage inventory efficiently and maintain accurate records
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Physical ability to lift and move products (up to 20 kg)
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Friendly and professional demeanour when interacting with customers
• Previous experience in vending machine operations or retail is preferred but not essential
