What does the role involve?
Reporting to the National Sales Manager - Ireland, as a Vendor Account Executive, you'll develop vendor relationships and business in your region. You will support the development of Mitsubishi HC Capital Europe Group strategy, including growing business volumes in the construction, material handling, print, healthcare and energy related markets. This role is home based, with flexible travel to our customers across Northern Ireland and occasional travel to our offices in Dublin and Staines.
Some of your key duties will include:

  • Managing signed vendor relationships and develop incremental business opportunities
  • Developing relationships with existing customers to maximise new sales opportunities
  • Identifying and develop new opportunities (sectors, suppliers and manufacturers) within the region
  • Building and submitting credit applications for larger value proposals and present in the credit committee
  • Working closely and build strong relationships with the credit & risk teams
  • Enhancing any credit proposal that is deemed worthy of appeal and to represent that proposal in a professional manner
What are we looking for?
We're seeking a tenacious sales professional who is full of energy and enthusiasm to grow our portfolio. Your ability to put the customer first will enable you to build solid relationships. Drive and ambition are key traits for this role.
Also, we're looking for the following:
  • Good knowledge of vendor or asset finance
  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal
  • Great stakeholder management skills
  • Flexibility to travel to support our customers
