Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Ventilation / HVAC technician , that lives locally around Warrington/Manchester/Liverpool area.

The ideal candidate will be able to carry out service, maintenance, and installation works to all types of ventilation units including, air handling units, heat recovery units and supply and extract units.

The successful candidate will also be trained on how to carry out out servicing and reactive works to air conditioning systems including splits, VRV/F, chillers, heat pumps and close control units so a basic understanding of electrics and controls would be advantageous. Full training will be provided if required.

The works are varied and do require travelling to various site across the UK, with overnight stays when required but these are kept to a minimum.

We are a small business and are looking for someone who works well on their own or as part of a team. Using their own initiative and who can bring new ideas, and really put their own stamp on the role. Someone who has thirst for knowledge and keen to progress their career will be ideally suited to this role.

We require someone who has -

Proven track record in working with AHU systems. Ideally experience in Hospital standard HTM03-01 Experience in troubleshooting installations, fault finding, and repairs. CITB P&P Pipework and Brazing would be advantegeous. Experience of working to appropriate health and safety standards and regulations. Ability to follow work instructions read and interpret technical diagrams whilst reporting technical information as required. Excellent written and verbal communications*

As these positions involve working in schools an Enhanced DBS check is required.*
