Venue Coordination Manager



Location: Hybrid (Remote & Office-based, near Bicester) Hours: Full-time Contract: Permanent Salary: 29,000 - 32,000 per annum
We're looking for an energetic and highly organised Venue Coordination Manager to lead and inspire a small team of Venue Coordinators. This is a pivotal role ensuring our fundraisers have access to high-quality venues that drive membership growth and help us achieve ambitious targets for UK wildlife conservation.

What you'll do:



Lead and develop a team of 3-5 Venue Coordinators, supporting performance and training needs. Oversee planning, booking, and scheduling of venues and events to maximise recruitment opportunities. Maintain accurate data in Salesforce and Evergiving, using reporting and KPIs to drive efficiency. Build strong relationships with venues, Wildlife Trust partners, and internal teams. Take ownership of national and local event bookings, including logistics and budgeting. Innovate and forward-plan to ensure venue availability meets organisational demand.

About you:



Strong organisational and communication skills Excellent people skills - tactful, diplomatic, and confident in negotiation Solid administration skills with attention to detail Highly proficient IT skills (MS Office, databases) Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment Full driving licence and access to a car (essential due to office location) Ideally based locally or within reasonable travel distance to our head office in Bicester

Desirable:



Experience in event or venue booking Knowledge of Salesforce CRM Experience in a sales or membership recruitment environment

Typical hours are Monday-Friday, with one weekend per month providing remote 'on-call' support (8am-11am) to assist with any urgent venue issues.

Our fundraisers work at pre-arranged venues and events across Essex, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, and Nottinghamshire.
