As a Venue Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the bar, kitchen, and simulator service areas. You are responsible for delivering consistently high standards across all departments, ensuring full compliance with regulations, developing staff, and actively driving business performance through exceptional service and promotional activity.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take full responsibility for the management of bar, kitchen, and simulator service operations, ensuring a seamless and high-quality customer experience at all times.
Lead, train, and develop staff across all departments, ensuring consistency in standards, service, and operational delivery.
Ensure all food and beverage products are prepared and served to the company's specifications and brand standards.
Maintain full compliance with all relevant legislation, including Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Licensing Laws, Challenge 21, COSHH, Fire Safety, and Trading Standards.
Manage and uphold a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout all customer-facing and back-of-house areas.
Act as the main point of contact for all operational issues, resolving staff and customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Oversee and implement all opening and closing duties in line with company procedures.
Actively promote the business through upselling, event promotion, and customer engagement to maximise revenue and grow the brand.
Manage and respond to customer bookings and enquiries across all platforms (in-venue, online, email, and phone).
Collaborate with senior management to support marketing campaigns, events, and new initiatives to attract and retain customers.
Monitor stock levels and support with ordering, stock control, and supplier communication where required.
Lead by example with a hands-on approach, working across bar, kitchen, and simulator areas to support and motivate the team.
