This iconic Birmingham based venue hosts a varied range of large-scale events such as conferences, dinners, weddings and theatre shows.
Continually growing their portfolio, they have a broad base of interesting corporate and private clients. The multi-purpose venue offers a versatile backdrop for a wide range of business, as well as having an exciting in-house event programme!
THE ROLE
With a growing amount of events and clients, there is now the opportunity for a Sales & Event Coordinator to come onboard and support the Senior Management in delivering a successful events calendar.
This is a broad role that includes:
- Receiving and responding to incoming enquires into the venue
- Upselling the events space and offerings of the venue
- Conducting show arounds
- Producing proposals and costings to convert enquires
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure the availability of events space and delivery of the events
- Managing and delivery a range of events within the venue
- Managing internal departments and external suppliers including AV and caterers
- Strengthening and developing relationships
- Creating all event documentation including invoicing
- Managing events onsite
The ideal candidate must have previous experience of working in events. Excellent customer service is a must. Previous experience working in a venue is preferable, as well as previous sales experience.
