Role Overview:
We're looking for a motivated and results-driven Venue Sales Executive to lead our efforts in driving private hire bookings, corporate events, and community functions. This is a key role focused on increasing visibility and utilisation of our venue through proactive sales and excellent client service.
Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible
Reports to: General Manager / Director
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new bookings for private events, parties, and corporate hires
Respond to all booking enquiries via email, phone, and walk-ins
Conduct venue tours and client meetings to showcase the space
Develop partnerships with local promoters, agencies, and event organisers
Maintain and update booking calendar and CRM systems
Meet monthly/quarterly sales targets
Support marketing efforts including social media, email campaigns, and listings
Provide handover to operational team for successful event delivery
Attend local networking events and expos to promote the venue
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in sales, hospitality, events, or venue management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter with ability to work independently and hit targets
Familiarity with booking platforms and CRM systems is a plus
Knowledge of the local events scene is a bonus
