A day in the life of a Vet Nurse Advisor\xe2\x80\xa6

Reporting to the Head of Consumer Services, the experience of working within a busy small animal practice will enable you to provide expert advice on companion animal health, nutrition, and wellbeing directly to our consumers, as well as successfully resolving complaints. You will also have the opportunity for ongoing training with our vets onsite to support your continuing professional development. You will work shifts on a rota between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving contact to consumer satisfaction in order to build trust in our brands through expertise and reassurance
  • Communicating directly with our consumers and vets to offer advice and support on various topics, such as health, nutrition and general product concerns
  • Supporting your teammates with veterinary advice
  • Personalisation, consistency, tailored conversations & written interactions
  • Handling of data
  • Seamless service regardless of communication channel
  • Adapting to changing consumer demands & expectations
  • Identifying opportunities for further pro-active engagement / develop advocates for Purina in Society & brands
  • Creatively & proactively solve consumer problems to consumer satisfaction & meeting business constraints
What will make you successful?

To be successful in this role you must be a fully qualified Vet Nurse with sound knowledge of small animal care. These roles come with a high degree of responsibility early on and therefore strong technical knowledge and a proactive mind-set will be the key to your success.

You will also:
  • Have experience working within a Veterinary Practice
  • Be versatile, a problem solver and have excellent attention to detail
  • Have an interest in Pet nutrition
  • Have the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and juggle conflicting priorities - Whether offering advice or resolving issues you will ensure total customer satisfaction.
  • Have experience of building relationships with customers
