Veterinary Anaesthetist - Post-Residency Clinician

Location:

Eastcott Veterinary Hospital, Swindon

Job Type:

2-month fixed term contract

Hours:

3 days per week, 1:4 weekends and 1 night per week on-call.

ECVAA or ACVAA diplomate

, or a

residency-trained clinician

, to join our team for a temporary, part-time position. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and supportive Anaesthesia service in a leading multi-disciplinary referral hospital.

Work alongside an experienced team of three ECVAA diplomates, one residency-trained clinician, and two dedicated anaesthesia nurses in a collaborative environment. State-of-the-art facilities including multi-parameter monitors, fluid pumps and syringe drivers with bespoke drug library, forced air warmer devices, mechanical ventilators (in every theatre), portable ventilators (in diagnostic areas), cardiac output monitoring, dedicated ultrasound machine and nerve stimulator - to perform advanced locoregional anaesthesia techniques Our service integrates with physiotherapy and complementary therapies (including acupuncture) to improve pain control and reduce stress in hospitalised and chronic patients Our multi-disciplinary team includes specialists in: Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic Surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Physiotherapy and Pain Clinic, Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging and Ophthalmology Located close to the breathtaking Cotswolds, our practice offers not just professional excellence but also an exceptional quality of life.
